A registry helps the people who love you give gifts you'll actually use. A thoughtful one can cover a big share of your one-time costs.
Register for
- Your car seat and safe sleep space
- Diapers and wipes in a range of sizes, not just newborn
- Clothes in 3 to 12 month sizes
- Things you'll need later: a high chair, a bigger car seat, baby gates
- A diaper fund or a childcare fund if the registry allows cash gifts
Tips
- Keep receipts and gift receipts in one place
- Check return windows; some are short
- Many registries give a completion discount on items nobody bought
